These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase and use of Airalo eSIMs (the "Service") offered through the AstroPay App (the "App") provided by AstroPay Global IOM Limited ("AstroPay," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing an Airalo eSIM through the App, you ("you," "your," or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are supplemental to AstroPay’s General Terms and Conditions (the "General Terms") and by the Airalo Terms and Conditions (the “Airalo Terms”). In the event of any conflict between these Terms, the Airalo Terms and the General Terms, these Terms will control with respect to the Service.
By purchasing an Airalo eSIM through the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, the Airalo Terms and the General Terms.
Any words starting with a capital letter and not defined in these Terms shall have the meaning ascribed in the General Terms.
- Service Description
The Service provided by AstroPay through the App enables Users to purchase Airalo eSIMs using their AstroPay Wallet. Airalo eSIMs provide mobile data connectivity for compatible devices in supported countries. Upon successful purchase, Users will receive activation instructions within the App, allowing them to install and activate the eSIM on their device. AstroPay facilitates the purchase transaction but does not provide the underlying mobile data services. Those services are provided solely by Airalo. AstroPay is not responsible for the performance, quality, or availability of the Airalo eSIM service.
- Eligibility
You must have an active and valid AstroPay Account with enough balance to purchase an Airalo eSIM.
- Purchase Process
Within the AstroPay App, you can browse the available Airalo eSIM plans and select the one that best suits your needs. Upon selecting a plan, the App will display the order details for your review and confirmation. This summary will include the plan type, data allowance, validity period, and the total price, all displayed in USD. Once you confirm the order, the specified USD amount will be securely deducted from your AstroPay wallet balance. Following successful payment processing, you will receive a confirmation message within the App. This confirmation will contain detailed instructions on how to activate your newly purchased eSIM on your compatible device.
- eSIM Usage
Before purchasing an Airalo eSIM, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that your mobile device is compatible with eSIM technology. AstroPay and Airalo are not responsible for any compatibility issues you may encounter. You are responsible for the activation of the eSIM, which must be done by following the instructions provided within the App after purchase. The data usage available through the eSIM is governed by the terms and conditions of the specific Airalo plan you selected and is further subject to the Airalo Terms. For any support-related inquiries or issues regarding eSIM activation or usage, you must contact our Customer Support team.
- Refunds
If you experience issues with eSIM activation directly attributable to a technical fault on Airalo's side, you may be eligible for a refund. To request a refund in such a case, you must contact AstroPay customer support within five days of the eSIM purchase. Refunds will not be issued for reasons such as user error during activation, device incompatibility, or if the eSIM has been used beyond a minimal test period (as defined by Airalo's policy). All refund requests are subject to the Airalo Terms and Airalo's final determination. If a refund is approved by Airalo, the corresponding USD amount will be credited back to your AstroPay wallet.
- Warranties and Disclaimers
AstroPay acts as a facilitator for the purchase of Airalo eSIMs and is not responsible for the quality or performance of Airalo's services. AstroPay's role is limited to enabling the purchase transaction through the App, and it does not provide, control, or have responsibility for the underlying eSIM services, network coverage, or data plans offered by Airalo. AstroPay does not guarantee the continuous availability of Airalo eSIM services and is not liable for any service interruptions.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions
AstroPay reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the Isle of Man. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this Program will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions outlined in our General Terms.
