Terms and Conditions: “Pick your Cashback” Promotion

1. General conditions:

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) regulate the way of participating for the “Pick your Cashback” promotion (the “Promotion”). All capitalized terms that are not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms (https://astropay.com/terms-conditions/?lang=en)

This Promotion will be valid from 29/04/2024.

2. Eligible User

User means any person older than 18 years who has passed the KYC process and has an AstroPay Account (the “Account”) in his/her name.

“Eligible User” refers to Users who hold or request an AstroPay Card and follow the instructions described in this Terms and Conditions to participate in the Promotion.

“App” refers to AstroPay mobile application.  

“Wallet” refers to AstroPay digital wallet. 

“Cashback” is a percentage of the total amount spent on purchases using the AstroPay Card at selected Merchants. 

“Merchants” refers to the list of eligible merchants or merchants categories where Eligible Users can purchase with their AstroPay Card using their Monthly Cashback Budget and receiving Cashback. AstroPay reserves the right to change this list from time to time at its sole discretion. 

“Monthly Cashback Budget” refers to the maximum monthly Cashback Eligible Users can receive according to their Loyalty Level. 

“Loyalty Level” refers to Eligible Users level according to the Loyalty Program: https://astropay.com/promos-terms-conditions-2/. 

‍3. How It Works:

In the App Rewards home, Users can access the 'Exclusive Promos’ section where they can find the 'Pick your cashback' promotion (the “Promotion”).  

This Promotion is exclusively available to Eligible Users with an active AstroPay Card. 

If the User does not have an active AstroPay card, they will be redirected to request one; while Eligible Users will proceed to the Merchants selection screen.

Eligible Users will get a Monthly Cashback Budget on their selected Merchants when purchasing with the AstroPay card.

The number of Merchants Eligible Users can select and their Monthly Cashback Budget depend on their Loyalty Level and will be as follows:

(i) Eligible Users at Standard Loyalty Level will be able to select 1 (one) Merchant and will receive a 1% (one percent) Cashback on their purchases made with their AstroPay Card. The Cashback will be limited to their Monthly Cashback Budget of US$ 5 (five American Dollars) or the equivalent in the Eligible Users local currency. 

(ii) Eligible Users at Silver Loyalty Level Eligible Users will be able to select 2 (two) Merchants and will receive: (i) a 2% (two percent) Cashback on their purchases made with their AstroPay Card in the first selected Merchant and; (ii) a 1% (one percent) Cashback on their purchases made with their AstroPay Card in their second selected Merchant. The Cashback will be limited to their Monthly Cashback Budget of US$ 10 (ten American Dollars) or the equivalent in the Eligible Users local currency.  

(iii) Eligible Users Gold Loyalty Level Eligible Users will be able to select 3 (three) Merchants and will receive: (i) 3% (three percent) Cashback on their purchases made with their AstroPay Card in their first selected Merchant; (ii) 2% (two percent) Cashback on their second selected Merchant and; (iii) 1% (one percent) Cashback in their third selected Merchant. The Cashback will be limited to their Monthly Cashback Budget of US$ 15 (fifteen American Dollars) or the equivalent in the Eligible Users local currency Monthly Cashback Budget available.

(iii) Eligible Users Black Loyalty Level will be able to select 4 (four) Merchants and will receive: (i) 4% (four percent) Cashback on their purchases made with their AstroPay Card in their first selected Merchant; (ii) 3% (three percent) Cashback on their second selected Merchant; (iii) 2% (two percent) Cashback in their third selected Merchant and;(iv) 1% (one percent) Cashback in their fourth selected Merchant. The Cashback will be limited to their Monthly Cashback Budget of US$ 20 (twenty American Dollars) or the equivalent in the Eligible Users local currency Monthly Cashback Budget available.

After selecting the Merchants, Eligible Users confirm their choices on the confirmation screen in the App. Once a Eligible User confirms their selection of Merchants, they cannot change it unless they upgrade to a higher Loyalty Level.

4. Monthly Cashback Budget and Renewal:

The Monthly Cashback Budget is renewed monthly on a calendar basis.

Unused Monthly Cashback Budget expires at the end of each month and does not carry over to the following month.

Eligible Users can use their Monthly Cashback Budget as they prefer and are not required to distribute it across all selected Merchants.

‍5. Cashback Usage:

The Cashback amount received when purchasing with the AstroPay Card is automatically credited to the Eligible User's Wallet, can be used for future purchases within the App and does not have an expiration date.

6. Security Measures and Customer Support

We only use our official channels (email mentioned before) to contact our users. AstroPay will never request passwords or credit card information.

7. AstroPay’s Rights

AstroPay has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. 

The changes will be valid from the date they are published.

If these Terms and Conditions were changed, the User would receive an acknowledgment in their registered email. They may express their refusal. If AstroPay does not receive any refusals in a month, the new terms will be applied.

This Promotion is bound by the laws of the United Kingdom and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
