May 2024 Card Cashback Promos

Terms and conditions “Cashback Promos – AstroPay Cards May”:

1. General conditions:

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) regulate the way of participating for the “CashBack Promos – AstroPay Cards May” promotion (the “Promotion”). All capitalized terms that are not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms.

This Promotion will be valid from May 1th, 2024 until May 31th, 2024 inclusive (the “Term”).

2. Eligible User

User means any person older than 18 years old who has passed the KYC process and has an AstroPay Account in his/her name.

“Eligible User” refers to Users who have received an e-mail, push notification and/or in app-notification with the Promotion from AstroPay during the Term and have performed a purchase.

“Standard”, “Silver”, “Gold” and “Black” refer to the level of the user as defined in accordance with AstroPay’s Loyalty Program.

Once the purchase is performed, the Eligible User will be awarded with a cashback (the “Cashback”) and the funds will be deposited in the Eligible Users’ AstroPay wallet (the “Wallet”).  

3. Promotion Conditions

Eligible Users will be awarded a cashback if they make a purchase using any of the AstroPay Cards in one of the merchants identified in the AstroPay communication.

This Promotion is not combinable with other benefits. 

(i) Ride-hailing companies - Standard and Silver:

The Promotion will be limited to 2000 Eligible Users per merchant and will only apply one time per User.

Each Eligible User will be awarded a 15% (fifteen percent) of the purchase amount, up to a maximum of U$S 2.5 (two American Dollars and fifty cents) per month or the equivalent in the Eligible Users’ local currency, and the funds will be deposited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet. 

To receive the Cashback, each Eligible User will have to perform at least one purchase of U$S 1 (one American dollar) in the identified ride-hailing companies in the AstroPay’s communication received. 

The Cashback will be credited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet within the 24 hours from the purchase. 

(ii) Ride-hailing companies - Gold and Black:

The Promotion will be limited to 600 Eligible Users per merchant and will only apply one time per User.

Each Eligible User will be awarded a 20% (twenty percent) of the purchase amount, up to a maximum of U$S 2.5 (two American Dollars and fifty cents) per month or the equivalent in the Eligible Users’ local currency, and the funds will be deposited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet. 

To receive the Cashback, each Eligible User will have to perform at least one purchase of U$S 1 (one American dollar) in the identified ride-hailing companies in the AstroPay’s communication received. 

The Cashback will be credited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet within the 24 hours from the purchase. 

(iii) Fast Food Restaurant:

The Promotion will be limited to the first 1500 Eligible Users per merchant and will only apply one time per User.

Each Eligible User will be awarded a 25% (twenty-five percent) of the purchase amount, up to a maximum of U$S 3 (three American Dollars) per month or the equivalent in the Eligible Users’ local currency, and the funds will be deposited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet. 

To receive the Cashback, each Eligible User must do a purchase of at least U$S 1 (one American dollar) with their AstroPay Card at restaurants and/or bars identified in the AstroPay’s communication received from 00:00 – 23:59 pm (UTC -3) on Fridays and Saturdays. 

The Cashback will be credited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet within the 24 hours from the purchase. 

(iv) Streaming Platform: 

The Promotion will be limited to the first 1500 Eligible Users per merchant and will only apply one time per User.

Each Eligible User will be awarded a 25% (twenty-five percent) of the purchase amount, up to a maximum of U$S 2 (two American Dollars) per month or the equivalent in the Eligible Users’ local currency, and the funds will be deposited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet. 

To receive the Cashback, each Eligible User must do a purchase of at least U$S 1 (one American dollar) with their AstroPay Card in the sporting clothes store identified in the AstroPay’s communication. 

The Cashback will be credited in the Eligible Users’ Wallet within the 24 hours from the purchase and it applies for online and in-store purchases. 

4. Promotion Mechanics

The Eligible User has to make the purchase in one of the identified merchants during Term in order to receive the cashback. 

If the Eligible User does not make a purchase during the Term, the Promotion expires.

We only use our official channels (email mentioned before) to contact our users. AstroPay will never request passwords or credit card information.

Any questions about privacy may be consulted on this website .

6. AstroPay’s Rights

AstroPay has the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. The changes will be valid from the date they are published.

If these Terms and Conditions were changed, the User would receive an acknowledgement in their registered email. They may express their refusal. If AstroPay does not receive any refusals in a month, the new terms will be applied.

This Promotion is bound by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
