PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. By using this program, you agree to the following terms and conditions that govern the AstroPay Loyalty Program.
The AstroPay Loyalty Program (hereinafter, the “Loyalty Program”) operates under the terms and conditions as set out below unless otherwise expressly stated herein (the “Terms and Conditions”), which govern how AstroPay users (the “Users”) qualify to become members of the Loyalty Program, the AstroPay’s relationship with members of the Loyalty Program, as well as its benefits and termination.
The Loyalty Program is valid for as long as AstroPay maintains it, at its sole discretion. AstroPay may modify, add or delete any of these Terms and Conditions, benefits or rewards, in whole or in part, at any time, even though such changes may affect the value or amount of your AstroPoints and rewards already accumulated and/or the time for redemption.
All capitalized terms that are not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms and Conditions for all Users.
The Loyalty Program will only be active for AstroPay Users located in the countries identified in Annex 1. Users are automatically enrolled in the Loyalty Program at the Standard Level, as described below, whenever (i) the Users create an AstroPay Account and (ii) issue his/her AstroPay Card.
The Loyalty Program is intended for personal use only and commercial use is prohibited.
There are four different Loyalty Program Levels (“Levels”):
Each Level has access to specific and additional benefits as set out in AstroPay’s Web & App. The benefits may vary from one Level to another.
As described in the chart below, Users may qualify for each Level based on the amount of AstroPoints obtained. Users will change Levels when they accumulate the required AstroPoints for each Level.
Downgrade from the Level achieved may occur at the beginning of each calendar year, when AstroPay will evaluate the AstroPoints generated in the last 12 months. This will be done annually.
The AstroPoints are fictional points, generated by Astropay (and only valid for Astropay awards or proposes). AstroPoints do not constitute property, do not entitle a User to a vested right or interest and have no cash value. As such, AstroPoints are not transferable or assignable for any reason, except as authorized by AstroPay. The sale or transfer of AstroPoints is strictly prohibited.
AstroPoints earned by the User will expire if the AstroPay’s User Account is inactive for 6 months. In addition, without limiting any other remedies, AstroPoints may be cancelled by AstroPay it is suspected that a User has engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Loyalty Program.
In case the User moves from one Level to a higher one, he/she will not lose the AstroPoints he/she has obtained so far, but they will be accumulated.
The AstroPoints are automatically generated whenever an eligible action, as set out in AstroPay’s Web & App from time to time, is done through the Web & App, including, but not limited to deposits, debit card payments, signing up, email confirmation, KYC validation, challenges. For each eligible action the User will receive the corresponding amount of AstroPoints as described in the Web & App.
The actions that generate AstroPoints may be modified at Astropay’s sole discretion.
The daily generation of AstroPoints will be subject to limits based on the Users Level, region and the specific event they are participating in, as set out in AstroPay’s Web & App from time to time. There may be restrictions on the generation of AstroPoints in relation to the deposit on specific merchant sites.
Depending on the User’s Level each eligible action will get a different amount of AstroPoints. The amount of AstroPoints will be defined based on the multipliers and equivalences as set out in AstroPay’s Web & App.
Users may redeem AstroPoints for rewards, balance (cash on their wallet) or prizes, if available, as set out in AstroPay’s Web & App. AstroPoints may not be used to pay for shipping or taxes or other fees, if any. Once a User redeems its AstroPoints, the deduction of AstroPoints is final and will not be returned.
The benefits will depend on the User’s Level. The benefits for each Level may change from time to time, including new benefits and removing or changing the old ones.
The Loyalty Program may be canceled or modified at any time at AstroPay’s sole discretion. Users will be responsible for regularly reviewing any updates or changes that Astropay makes from time to time. By continuing to use AstroPay’s services after such updates or changes have been implemented, the Users indicate their acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
If the Loyalty Program was canceled and there were remaining AstroPoints in the Users wallet, a notice will be given to the User with the timeframe in which he/she needs to use them before losing them.
Each Level may have specific promotions or campaigns available for certain periods of time.
The AstroPoints will not be usable if the User has his Account blocked or suspended. AstroPay may block or suspend an Account in case of fraud suspicions or any other reason at its sole discretion.
